Stardust: new words to be learnt

Hi  kids!
Before listening to the song let's have a look at some new words .

Stardust = polvere di stelle
I could be staring= potrei stare a fissare
could= potrei potevo sapevo
stare = fissare
stick stuck stuck verbo irregolare= ficcare, appiccicare, conficcare,
I was you were = (dovreste saperlo.....)
thunder= tuono
I wanna = I want to = voglio
I said verbo irregolare say said said 
in the blink = battere di ciglia
feel like= sentirsi come 
a fool= uno sciocco
care = preoccuparsi/curarsi

Per tutti:
Roar = Ruggire
I used to ( prima di un verbo serve a tradurre il tempo imperfetto e serve a dire che "si era soliti fare qualcosa) quindi:
I used to bite my tongue = mi mordevo la lingua ( ero solita farlo/ lo facevo sempre)
hold my breath = trattenere il respiro
scared = spaventata
rock the boat= fare danni/disturbare
make a mess = fare confusione
I let you= ti ho permesso
push me : spingermi
past= oltre
the breaking point: il limite/ il punto di rottura
stand for = sostenere
fall for = innamorarsi di / farsi ingannare

PER LE CLASSI PRIME:
Cercate nel testo tutti gli animali che conoscete
I got = I have got
the eye = l'occhio
a fighter = un combattente
fire= fuoco
through= attraverso


 PER LE CLASSI SECONDE
politely = educatamente polite + ly  = POLITELY
quietly = in modo tranquillo quiet + ly = QUIETLY
Cercate il simple past di questi verbi:

 agree,
 have, 
get, 
forget, 
stand, 
fall

PER LE CLASSI TERZE .
Cercate comparativi  e tutti i passati che conoscete (sia regolari che irregolari)

Crossroads /Intersection = incrocio
T-intersection   T -junction = incrocio a T
Go through  = passare  attraverso 
Could you tell me = mi potresti dire
how to get to the cinema? = come  si fa ad arrivare al cinema?
Turning= svolta
Take the first turning on the left= prendi la prima (svolta) a sinistra

Ma, che ne dite se iniziamo a ripassare alcune strutture grammaticali con "Wake me up"?

 E' decisamente il suono più difficile da pronunciare per noi italiani.

ATTIC = SOFFITTA:

 a space or room under the roof

PANTRY / LARDER = DISPENSA

a small room where food is kept.
UTILITY ROOM =
 LAVANDERIA / STANZA DI SERVIZIO

a room in a house where washing mashines, freezers, ironing boards etc are kept.

SHED = CAPANNO DEGLI ATTREZZI

a small building used for storing things.
